This is a projects journal for the Chronicles of Tane-Los, a work in progress.
The Chronicles describe the formation, rise, and struggles of two opposing civilizations, the Archniniei and the Terionach, over a period of more than seven millenia.

  • Shadows of the Sorcerers (tentative working title), set during the three initial years of the First Alliance
Synopsis: A centuries-long cold war between two superpower nations of the psychically gifted heats up when a tyrannical mage-lord declares war on both sides.

  • The Stream of Memory, set across the first three ages of the Archniniei Imperium, from Year 798 to Year 3940

  • Darvas, the autobiography of its namesake, the Archnin scientist Darvas N'Arquelotas, and the early story of his daughter's family

  • The Onyx Golem, set during first fifty years of the founding of the First City and earliest in the timeline

  • Wyvern's Fall, a tale of the Balagûnian crisis and currently latest in the timeline

Perilous Alliance, Book 1 of Shadows of the Sorcerers, is set during the First Mage War, was completed as my successful first entry in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo 2004).

The Orb of Souls, Book 2 of Shadows of the Sorcerers was my second successful entry in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo 2005).

The Stream of Memory was my third successful entry in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo 2007).

For my fourth successful entry in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo 2008), I worked on a cyberpunk story, Fast Times in Deadville (ft_forgotten).

Darvas was my fifth successful entry in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo 2009).

The Onyx Golem is my sixth and current entry in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo 2011).

Dismember, dismember, this fifth of November; let internal editors rot!
With Baty's fine notion, your Nanowrimotion shall never lack for plot.
